My work is about texture and color!!

I found a new joy working with glass and wood. The liquid state of hot glass lends itself to creating art of a flowing and graceful nature. The image of the molten movement of glass can be captured as it cools and freezes the moment in time. The organic nature of the wood grounds the piece .

I love playing with color and a variety of textures and blending them into a statement of their own. Glass has such a fluidity about it and can be manipulated to become what it was meant to be, beautiful art.

I was born into a family of artists and had to follow the trend at some time. While the others work in paints, I love working in a more tactile medium. It has taken me some time to come into my own as an artist. It was when I finally had the opportunity to retire from a regular job that I was able to finally explore my own artistic talents in a different medium. It is a delight and fulfilling new journey.
